Refocusing Our Mission: The cat nap is over.

Hey all you cool cats and kittens!
MyLynx is at a crossroads. We started this project to fill a gap in web3, but the rapid pace of #onchain summer and the shiny new toys on Base and Etherlink distracted us. We got stuck in the ideation phase and lost focus.
Simon Sinek’s Start With Why hit home for me. Our “Why?” had become “because I said I would,” which is a great reason to follow through but a lousy reason to build something.
So, we’re hitting the reset button. We’re rebasing ourselves aroud the core mission. Tezos artists need a single platform to promote and share their creations. We aim to achieve this by creating a fantastic personal ‘link-in-bio’ page with features any Tezonian can use as their personal webpage to the world. Think embedded galleries, minting and secondary market capabilities, and custom button/social platform links. It’s a one-stop shop to keep up with you in web3, dynamically feeding from the most popular Tezos marketplaces and minting tools.
Simply put:
“Our mission is to provide Tezos artists with a seamless platform to promote and share their art, connecting them with crypto enthusiasts and driving adoption of XTZ.”
We’re not here to replace these platforms but to bridge the gap between them and the edge of the Tezos ecosystem. Think of us as the road workers keeping the potholes filled and the signs clear, getting traffic and XTZ flowing smoothly.
Our goal is to earn fair revenue by providing premium services for which users find enough value to pay a small yearly subscription. For non-premium members (all are welcome once we launch from beta), we will earn referral fees from marketplace links and transactions. Premium members can choose to direct these referral fees to a wallet of their choice for links on their pages. As we move forward we may see a large disparity between these two models and modulate our offerings to make sense to everyone and be accessible to all Tezos wallets.
Additionally, we will provide connections to crypto exchanges to make XTZ acquisition easier, earning a commission on these swaps (not shared with premium subscribers).
By refocusing, we’re building a space where artists thrive and collectors easily discover new talent. Our goal is to earn fair referral fees and small dividends on swaps and mints, ensuring everything remains transparent and open.
